Lake Chelan
Lake Chelan is a 55-mile long pristine lake in Washington. At an elevation of nearly 1,500 feet, the lake dives to an amazingly 400 feet below sea level, ranking it as the third deepest lake in the United States. Area activities include boating, fishing, hiking, river rafting, golfing, hang-gliding, paragliding, water and snow skiing, horseback riding, a water slide park, and much more. For a lighter pace, enjoy the Chelan County Historical Society Museum and Pioneer village, a walk through a gallery, a visit to an apple orchard, a movie at the Historic Ruby Theatre, or try your luck at the Mill Bay Casino. After a busy day out and about, sit down and enjoy a nice dinner. Chelan has a wide variety of great restaurants, or stop by the grocery store to get fixings to make dinner in your cabin.
